Aims & Objectives
The aim of this summer school is to encourage and promote interest in the theoretical, applied, and policy aspects of data privacy among students and researchers. We aim to cover various topics from cyber security including cryptographic algorithms for
data privacy. We also aim to briefly cover the policy aspects of data protection.
This will also be the fourth edition of the summer school organised by IIIT Bangalore. The school will take place in online mode for
5 days (Monday - Friday) from 11th July, 2022 - 15th July, 2022. Two lectures of 1.5 hours each are planned for every day.
Target Audience
This school is primarily intended for third year onwards undergraduate (BE/BTech/BSc/BCA) and post graduate (ME/MTech/MSc/PhD) students of computer science and related disciplines. Researchers and faculty members are also welcome. Pre-requisites to participate
in this workshop are a basic understanding of discrete mathematics, data structures and algorithms. Hence this workshop would be suitable for undergraduate students who have completed at least 4 semesters in a typical computer science,
information technology or related streams.
